The studio opened in 1991. There are 3 rehearsal studios. Studio 1 is almost 1000 sq ft. and has a full stage. It is acoustically engineered for a live, but tight sound. Ideal for rehearsing live shows with a full stage setup, video shoots, showcases or even album and ep launches. Studio 2 is around 350 sq ft. So still a large studio. It is acoustically engineered for a tight, semi-dry sound, and has a drum riser. This studio is perfect for writing, rehearsing and perfecting your material. Studio 3 is acoustically engineered for a recording environment, with a slightly more live sound than studio 2, and bass traps. It is perfect for a band with up to 4 members and especially good for duos and 3 piece bands. All studios come equipped with excellent pa systems and mics. The studio works in 4-hour sessions, with the evening session starting at either 6 or 7 pm. Studio 1 is £32 for the session, Studio 2 is £28 for the session, and Studio 3 is £24 for the session. We do not generally supply guitar amps, as our philosophy is that it’s best to use the equipment you will be using on stage, but a bass amp and 4×12 guitar cabs are available on request. There are drum kits available to use free of charge, but the drummer will need to bring cymbals and preferably hardware, although limited hardware is available. The studio is most renowned for it’s friendly relaxed atmosphere, and we are always here to give advice and help you get the most from your session. The thing that we hear most often from customers is that it feels like home. We are sure that you will feel that way too.
